Your idea and optional details are sent to Cloudflare Workers AI to generate your result. Napkinproof does not store or log that text or the AI output. Strong regulated-category matches are stopped before anything is sent to the AI.

What we store

The only records Napkinproof stores are rate-limit counters: a daily global count and counters keyed by a salted, one-way hash of your IP address for a 10-minute window and UTC day. Each record also has a day and a last-updated time. We do not store the raw IP address. The salt changes daily.

Counters are used for at most 2 days. Expired rows are deleted opportunistically when the tool is used. If the tool is idle, expired rows can remain until the next cleanup. They are never used for tracking or for future rate-limit decisions.

Your browser

No cookies, analytics, accounts, local storage, or third-party scripts. Your current idea and result stay in the open page until you change or close it. Copy, download, and print run in your browser. The offline self-check makes no network request.

Cloudflare and Gumroad

Cloudflare hosts the site and processes requests, including IP addresses, as the hosting provider. Its own processing is covered by Cloudflare's privacy policy. The statement that ideas are not logged describes Napkinproof's application code; it is not a promise about every record a hosting provider may keep. Gumroad handles kit purchases on its own site. We do not receive card details through this tool.

Results are AI generated, can be wrong, and are not professional advice. Please do not submit personal, confidential, or sensitive information.
